As of the fall of 2010, a newly reconstituted JPPS-Bialik Board of Directors was created to uphold the mission of the “Association” or JPPS-Bialik, formulate policies, consider and approve the budget, as well as to appoint and evaluate the Head of School, ensuring the long-term viability of the schools. As such, it will focus on facilities and long-range planning, strategic planning and fundraising.
The Board meets eight times a year. It consists of four officers and a maximum of 18 directors, in addition to the Head of School, as an ex-officio member. While Board member mandates will be for two years, in this, the first year, 50% of the Board members will have one-year mandates in order to ensure succession and turnover.
Full Board membership is listed in the Annual Report.
