Committees

The Board has 14 standing committees, two education—one for elementary, one for high school—several concerned with fund-raising and management and use of endowments, finance, house (building), by-laws, traffic safety, personnel. They range in size from 3 to 25 members. They are also listed in the Annual Report, where each reports on its activities.
Chairs are listed in the Annual Report, and their phone numbers are available from the business office.

All these committees need volunteers; some require certain skills, others are open to all. People often hesitate to join, but the atmosphere in these committees is very casual, haimish and not intimidating at all.
