Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten

We introduce our students to computers by allowing them to explore age-appropriate educational software.

Cycle 1

Students attend a weekly computer lab session and work at interactive learning stations, enabling them to develop highly advanced computer skills including animation and programming. Features include multi-media capabilities, overhead projectors, high-powered modems, and CD-ROMs.

Overall Objectives—Kindergarten to Cycle 3

The computer science specialists introduce the students to the use of the computer as a fundamental learning tool, teaching the students computer procedures that help to promote reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Our staff provide each student with a personalized learning plan allowing for educational growth at the student’s own pace.
