The JPPS library/Resource Centre serves as the hub of our learning community. They act as an extension of the classroom for all grade levels: younger students are encouraged to view the library as a place for recreational activity and enjoyment; older students develop the research skills they require to become independent learners. It is also an educational resource for staff.
We house approximately 30,000 volumes, periodicals, audio-visual resources and computers-in four languages.
The JPPS library is fully automated and includes the Anne Moss Automated Library resource centre with links to a variety of other learning resources. This system can be accessed from anywhere. Click here.
The students now have access, through our high speed internet system and at home, to World Book on-line which is an excellent on-line reference site for children at all grade levels. (JPPS families: get the password from the school librarian or on FirstClass. )
