Speech Language Pathologist

A speech and language screening is conducted in the classroom through observation. If a more in-depth screening is required, this may be carried out in small groups outside the classroom setting. The purpose of the screening is to allow the therapist a chance to assess your child’s ability to be an effective communicator and/or listener. Should speech therapy be necessary, a short form describing the results of the screening and a detailed letter outlining the therapy options will be provided
