Phase II Is Complete!

 Phase II

Think the results of Phase I were exciting? Of course you do, because Bialik has never looked this snazzy. With the completion of Phase II, we have so much more to tell! Although the best way for you to get the full picture is to come for a visit, here is a rundown of what to expect.

Athletics and Performing Arts Complex

Built behind the current gymnasium is a brand new 10,500 sq. ft. sports and entertainment complex that has revolutionized Bialik. Doubling the size of the existing gym, the new gym finally allows athletics to take place at the same time that assemblies, rehearsals, and other special events are occurring.

The new stage area is also a major boon to all of Bialik’s favourite performances, including theatre and the annual fashion show. Dressing rooms located next to the stage are also avaiable. Last but not least, collapsible and removable bleacher seating for sporting events is also on its way. Amazing isn’t it?

Mettarlin Hall

Mettarlin Hall has beeen renovated to create a multi-facility area for small “black box” theatre productions, drama classes, assemblies, and dance.

Exercise and Weight Room

Bialik High School recognizes the importance of physical fitness and the potential lack of time to exercise regularly. To this end, an exercise and weight room has been built, complete with stationary bikes, treadmills, and weights.

Hall of Honour

The Atrium entrance to Mettarlin Hall, the Athletics and Performing Arts Complex, and the Exercise and Weight Room is now known as the Hall of Honour. Here, recognition of donors will are prominently displayed, and display cases hold the plethora of trophies and awards our teams have already accumulated and will undoubtedly bring back to Bialik in the future. Upcoming Bialik events will also be promoted in this space.

The Mezuzah Campaign

Here is your chance to leave a tangible legacy at Bialik High School.

Bialik is offering the naming rights to every mezuzah in the school! This is a first-come, first-served opportunity that can’t be missed.

There is no better way to honour or memorialize a loved one.  There is no better way to say “thank you” than by naming a specially designed mezuzah on your child’s classroom door in honour of the teacher that changed your child’s life, or maybe even yours!

  • Handcrafted needle-point mezuzot made by JPPS-Bialik students.
  • Customized mezuzot for donors at the highest levels
  • Plaques to commemorate a loved one who has passed, a graduating year, a favourite teacher or staff person, or just to leave your mark!
  • Prices start at just $1,800 for a classroom mezuzah!
  • All gifts may be paid in installments over 5 years
  • All gifts are fully receiptable
