Bialik High School’s working relationship with the City of Côte St. Luc was further cemented following a recent meeting of JPPS-Bialik’s Head of School Laurence Fhima, Bialik High School Principal Andrew Trager, JPPS-Bialik Head of Maintenance and Security Florian Gaudreau, and District 2 City Councillor Mike Cohen.
Several pertinent topics, including traffic safety during rush hours and times of heavy snow removal, were discussed. Bialik leadership and Councillor Cohen also discussed various opportunities for Bialik students to increase their involvement in municipal affairs.
Councillor Cohen went away quite impressed with Bialik’s revised traffic safety rules, especially with the fact that tickets will begin to be issued to drivers who violate the rules following an initial warning.
