As a Class Representative ("Class Rep") you are the representative of your graduating class and a liaison between your classmates and JPPS-Bialik. We encourage classes to have more than one Class Rep whenever possible.
The main thrust of the Class Rep's position is to gather the views of their classmates and convey these constructively at Class Rep meetings and with Advancement staff members. As well, Class Reps play an integral part in organizing Class Reunions and other Class Gatherings. We also count on the Class Reps to help keep our database current vis-a-vis their classmates.
JPPS-Bialik will hold Class Rep meetings each year to discuss any issues, and these meetings are your opportunity to put forward your class’ views on the school, the information they are receiving, and how to better connect with our Alumni.
During your time as a Class Rep you may also be invited to other Committee meetings with the Head of School and/or any other members of the Administrative Team so that the school is better able to understand and react to what it means to be a JPPS-Bialik alumnus/alumna.
At each of these meetings your role is simple: to make sure that committee members know what it means to be an alumnus/alumna of JPPS-Bialik, and to pass on information about your experience, the experiences of your peers, and how you believe we can upgrade and support the ongoing experience of being a proud graduate.
As a Class Rep you have the following specific responsibilities:
If you would like to be a Class Rep, please do not hesitate to contact Leslie Perez, Advancement Officer by email or by phone at 514-731-2944, ext. 230.
