JPPS-Bialik Mission Statement

JPPS-Bialik is passionate about striving for personal excellence. We believe in a dynamic education that emphasizes academic success, local and global engagement and Jewish values, all within a nurturing school community.

Did you know? 

  1. JPPS offers an inclusive, pluralistic Jewish educational experience.
  2. JPPS offers more hours of instruction in French than that required by the Quebec Ministry of Education.
  3. All students are taught Français Langue d’Enseignement.
  4. Our Judaic Studies program allows students to explore their Jewish history and develop an attachment to and love for the State of Israel.
  5. JPPS enforces a zero-tolerance anti-bullying policy.
  6. JPPS offers streamed math groups. 
  7. JPPS consistently wins the Canadian National Mathematics League Competition.
  8. JPPS was the first Jewish Day school in Montreal to implement the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) curriculum.
  9. JPPS’ innovative Science Program starts as early as Kindergarten.
  10. JPPS uses the latest technology including a 3D printer, iPads and interactive whiteboards.
  11. Our on-site Student Services Department includes an occupational therapist, speech language pathologist, social worker, student support facilitator and student services coordinator.
  12. JPPS has a support service team dedicated to students with learning difficulties.
  13. JPPS students participate in Tikun Olam throughout the school and community.
  14. Our students participate in an annual music festival. They present plays in French every year and put on an evening showcasing the multicultural aspects of our society.
  15. JPPS offers varied extra-curricular activities at lunchtime and after school including book clubs, girl's club, boy's club,yoga, hip hop, chess, theatre, competitive sports and more.
  16. The Tsedaka projects initiated by our students have raised in excess of $ 40,000 for deserving organizations locally, nationally, and internationally. Our students are also encouraged to volunteer and give of themsleves whenever possible.
  17. JPPS students are consistently accepted into their first choice of high school.
  18. Our Judaic Studies program allows students to explore their Jewish history and develop a strong connection to the State of Israel.
